Synchronicity of Color is a series of twenty-four metal panels painted in vibrant, shifting hues that line the pedestrian tunnel connecting Discovery Green to the George R. Brown Convention Center. Margo Sawyer created these panels in two thousand eight to transform a utilitarian walkway into an immersive experience of light and movement. The colors change as people move through the space, creating a visual rhythm. Each panel reflects the light differently, depending on the time of day and the angle of the viewer.
