The front door of Notsuoh wears a sign painted in gold leaf on the glass, spelling the name backward. It sits inside a nineteenth century building that once served as a dry goods store. Inside, the space operates as a bar and performance venue where bookshelves climb the walls and antique chairs fill the floor. Jim Henderson bought the building in the nineties, filling it with collected oddities and furniture to create a space that feels like a private library opened to the public.
