Warren's Inn

Warren’s Inn features a narrow, brick-faced exterior tucked between larger buildings in Market Square. This spot began as a simple tavern in nineteen twenty-seven, back when Houston’s downtown nightlife centered on this square. While other historic buildings nearby underwent total makeovers or demolition, Warren’s kept its original neon sign and its low-lit, wood-paneled interior. It survived the decline of the neighborhood when the rest of the square emptied out, staying open for the locals who stayed behind.
