The Kinselas Hotel features a curved, Art Deco facade finished in stark white render, sitting prominently on the corner of Taylor Square. Originally built as a funeral parlor in nineteen thirty-three, the building contained a chapel and embalming rooms for Walter Kinsela and his family. The undertakers conducted services here for decades before the property shifted into a nightclub and bar. A ghost of that former life remains in the building's layout, where the former chapel space now hosts live performances.
