EXchange Hotel Vancouver - An Executive Hotel

other

The Exchange Hotel occupies the former Vancouver Stock Exchange building, identifiable by the dark granite facade and the soaring, narrow tower that looms over the corner of Howe and Pender. Built in nineteen twenty-nine, the structure served as the city's financial heart for decades. During the nineteen eighties, the trading floor witnessed a frantic boom in junior mining stocks that made and lost fortunes overnight. Today, the original limestone carvings and vaulted ceiling remain, housing a hotel inside those high-stakes walls.
