The Vogue Theatre displays an art deco tower featuring a jagged, vertical fin of neon lights that cuts into the skyline. Built in nineteen forty-one, it served as a premier movie house for the Odeon chain. During its opening week, the theatre screened a double feature and hosted live stage performances for crowds lining up down Granville Street. It remains one of the few surviving venues from the golden age of cinema, currently hosting concerts and comedy acts inside its original proscenium arch.
