Gotham Steakhouse & Cocktail Bar

food drink

The Gotham Steakhouse occupies a former warehouse built in nineteen oh four. Its red brick exterior and heavy stone masonry stand out from the glassy towers nearby. Arthur Erickson, the architect who redesigned the interior in the late nineties, stripped back the layers to expose the original timber beams and high ceilings. A local developer, Leonard Schein, chose this spot to recreate the atmosphere of classic, upscale New York dining, serving prime cuts to people who have spent years signing deals at the nearby law firms.
