The TF one tower rises above the Seine in Boulogne-Billancourt as a concrete shaft wrapped in a distinctive glass skin. Architect Roger Saubot designed this vertical headquarters to house the operations of France's largest television network. When the building opened in nineteen seventy-four, it functioned as the nerve center for French broadcasting. Journalists and technicians worked inside these floors while the station shaped the national news cycle from the edge of the city. Today, the network occupies offices elsewhere, leaving the tower empty.
