Parc Diderot

park garden

Parc Diderot is defined by a dramatic elevation change of fourteen meters, a feature that designer Allain Provost masterfully exploited when he created the space in the early nineteen nineties. This steep hillside allows the park to function as a vertical transition between the high-rise corporate towers of La Defense and the more traditional urban fabric of Courbevoie. The centerpiece of this design is a monumental granite waterfall that cascades down the slope, its carved ripples specifically engineered to mask the ambient noise of the surrounding business district.
