L’immeuble - Trompe l'œil

The wall you are looking at is an exercise in intentional deception. What appears to be an extension of a building, complete with balconies, windows, and decorative flourishes, is actually a flat, painted surface. This technique, known as trompe l'oeil, or trick of the eye, relies on precise perspective to convince the brain that depth exists where there is none. The mural was designed to mask what was once an unadorned and visually intrusive blank side wall, transforming a mundane architectural necessity into a playful optical puzzle.
