Jewish Museum of Thessaloniki

The three-story building at Ayiou Mina thirteen features an ornate facade of carved stone and distinctive arched windows. This structure served as the headquarters for the Bank of Athens before becoming the center of Jewish memory in the city. In the early nineteen forties, the German occupation force seized the neighborhood, and the building sat at the edge of the confined ghetto. Today, it holds the archives of a community that defined the commercial life of Thessaloniki for four centuries.
