Cusrow Baug

Cusrow Baug occupies a rectangular grid of red stone apartment blocks punctuated by thick, manicured gardens and tall palm trees. Built in nineteen thirty-four, this gated community serves as a housing colony for Mumbai’s Parsi community. Sir Ness Wadia commissioned the estate to honor his father, Cusrow Wadia, on land that was once a tangled thicket. The residents still maintain a central fire temple, keeping the complex functioning as a quiet, self-contained village hidden from the relentless rush of the surrounding city.
