Bomanjee Hormarjee Wadia Clock Tower

The Bomanjee Hormarjee Wadia Clock Tower rises in Ballard Estate with a distinctive stone facade carved with intricate floral motifs and mythical lions. It honors Bomanjee Hormarjee, a Parsi philanthropist who funded water fountains across the city in the mid nineteenth century. After he died in eighteen sixty-eight, his family built this tower to provide clean water to both people and animals.
