The Ruttonsee Muljee Jetha Fountain stands as a tall, tiered stone structure topped by a bronze lamp, distinct for its intricate carving and octagonal base. Built in nineteen ninety-four, it honors a prominent businessman from the Bhatia community. Ruttonsee Muljee Jetha established a massive trading firm in the nineteenth century, dealing primarily in cotton. When he died, his family funded this fountain to provide fresh water to the workers, horses, and bullocks that crowded the busy Ballard Estate docks.
