In the nineteenth century, this street served as the primary hub for the local lac bangle makers. Families sat on the verandas for generations, heating colored resin over small stoves to coil intricate bangles for brides across the Marwar region. Today, the street retains the heavy scent of incense and the sound of metal tools tapping against stone.
