Kumharo ki gali

Kumharo ki Gali features walls lined with stacks of unbaked clay pots, sun-drying in the narrow alleyway. The residents here are generations of traditional potters who use the local red clay to create water vessels and ritual lamps. Decades ago, this narrow lane provided the specific wind flow needed to speed up the drying process before the kilns were fired. A potter once lived here who refused to use a wheel, shaping every vessel by hand for the royal palace.
