Pachetia Hill

Pachetia Hill rises as a jagged, rocky outcrop directly above the Gulab Sagar lake, capped by a small, starkly white temple. This land served as the original site for the city of Jodhpur before Rao Jodha moved his base to the more defensible Mehrangarh Fort nearby. Travelers climb the steep, narrow pathways to reach the summit for a view that encompasses the blue-painted houses of the old city and the sprawling walls of the fort, a vantage point once held by the early kings.
