The Sardar Market Gate stands as a massive, red sandstone archway punctured by a distinct, central clock tower that rises far above the surrounding flat rooftops. Maharajah Sardar Singh commissioned this gateway in the early twentieth century to define the entrance to the city's primary marketplace.
