Nostalgia sits at the corner of Libertad and Matamoros with a distinctive, curved stone facade that rises sharply above the cobblestone street. It began as a private home in the mid-twentieth century before becoming a hub for local artists and travelers. The owner, a sculptor named Ramiz Barquet, filled the surrounding sidewalk with his signature bronze figures of lovers. These statues define the space, freezing quiet, intimate moments in metal while the rest of the city rushes toward the beach.
