Los Muertos Beach Pier

The Los Muertos Pier extends out into the Bay of Banderas like a giant white sail frozen in mid-air. Its centerpiece is a towering, curved pylon that anchors the structure, illuminating the bay at night with shifting neon colors. The current design replaced an old wooden jetty that served local fishermen for decades. When the city replaced that simple structure in twenty thirteen, they commissioned architect Jose de Jesus Torres Vega to build a landmark that defines the modern coastline of Puerto Vallarta.
