Casa Kimberly Bridge

The pink arched bridge spans the narrow street, connecting two white stucco villas high on the hillside. Richard Burton bought the house on the left for Elizabeth Taylor in nineteen sixty-four, while they were filming The Night of the Iguana. He added this bridge so she could cross from her bedroom to his without ever touching the street. Taylor called it the Puente del Amor, or the Bridge of Love, a private path between their two homes above the town.
