Centro Cultural Cuale

cultural

The Centro Cultural Cuale sits on an island in the middle of the Cuale River, identifiable by its white stucco walls and the broad, open-air courtyards shaded by dense tropical trees. This complex began as a local school before the city repurposed it to house art studios, exhibition halls, and a small library. Sculptor Manuel Lepe frequently worked here, and his influence remains in the walls where students still learn the same bright, colorful painting styles he made famous across Puerto Vallarta.
