The black storefront of Nice N Sleazy sits on Sauchiehall Street with a hand-painted sign that looks as if it has been there since the dawn of time. Inside, the walls are thick with band posters and layers of peeling paint that define the room more than any decor could. This is the place where Glasgow musicians test out new songs in a dark, cramped basement. Before it became this venue, the space served as a Chinese restaurant in the nineteen seventies.
