Pegasus Plaza features a sunken limestone amphitheater and a tall, slender glass sculpture that reflects the surrounding skyline. It sits on the former site of the grand Dallas County Courthouse annex, which burned down in the nineteen-thirties. For decades, the empty space served as a simple parking lot. City planners eventually transformed the concrete into this terraced park. A bronze cast of the famous red Pegasus sign, which once perched atop the Magnolia Building, stands near the water features here.
