Brookfield Place anchors the Calgary skyline with two glass towers that rise to different heights, the taller one hitting nearly eight hundred feet. Completed in two thousand seventeen, the complex occupies an entire city block once used for a parking lot. Architects designed the main lobby as a glass pavilion, intending it to serve as a public transition between the street and the office space. Before the steel went up, crews excavated five levels of underground parking, reaching deep into the bedrock.
