Built in nineteen seventy-four, the building originally served as the headquarters for Panarctic Oils. During the nineteen seventies, the firm directed massive exploration projects across the high Arctic. Staff inside these offices mapped out thousands of miles of frozen tundra to locate oil and gas deposits, turning this downtown tower into the primary command center for Canada's northern energy expansion.
