The Winter Garden sits inside a glass cylinder that projects outward from the side of the +fifteen skywalk system. Its defining feature is the floor of polished light-colored stone and the dense canopy of trees that stay green all winter. Originally conceived in the nineteen eighties as an indoor park for office workers, it provides a temperate climate while snow falls on the city streets outside. A spiral staircase connects the levels, and the structure serves as a quiet vertical link for pedestrians.
