The building at Stollbergstraße eleven displays a smooth, light-colored facade with rounded corner balconies that break up the street line. Architect Franz Rank designed this structure in the early nineteen hundreds to house the administrative offices of the Bavarian insurance company, Allianz. The firm needed a space that projected stability and modern efficiency during Munich's period of rapid urban growth. Behind these walls, clerks processed policies for a booming economy, occupying a workspace defined by the era's taste for clean, understated commercial design.
