This shop exists because of the regional demand for traditional Marwari handicraft, serving as a direct workshop where artisans maintain techniques passed down through generations of local families. One worker, who has spent twenty years at the lathe here, still paints each puppet face by hand using a wooden stylus to ensure no two figures are identical.
