This is one of the few neighborhood spots that has resisted the polished, upscale renovations defining the rest of the street. It operates on a simple principle: cold bottles and a radio playing low. In nineteen sixty-eight, a local fisherman named Beto started selling beer here to his friends after their morning shifts, and it never changed.
