Café Baba

Café Baba clings to the cliffside at the edge of the Kasbah, defined by its chipped blue paint and mismatched furniture spilling onto the terrace. It opened in nineteen forty-three, serving mint tea to generations of locals and international travelers alike. The walls are covered in black and white photographs of visitors, including musicians like the Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix. It remains a quiet spot where the pace of the city slows down, overlooking the harbor toward the coast of Spain.
