King Tut's Wah Wah Hut

King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut sits behind a simple, dark facade on Saint Vincent Street, marked by a recognizable stylized logo. Originally opened in nineteen ninety as a venue for local bands, it gained immediate fame when Alan McGee of Creation Records discovered the band Oasis there. He signed them on the spot after watching their set. The basement room holds just three hundred people, keeping the atmosphere cramped and loud, exactly as it was the night the Gallagher brothers played their first show.
