The Garage features a bright yellow exterior and a neon sign that cuts through the gray Glasgow weather. It sits at the bottom of Sauchiehall Street, occupying a building that started as a bus depot in the nineteen sixties. Before it became a nightclub, the space served as an ice skating rink and later a furniture warehouse. Donald MacLeod bought the site in nineteen ninety-four, turning the former transport hub into a massive, multi-room venue that became a staple for local students.
