Bodega and The Rest

The three-story brick building on Main Street hides a secret behind its nondescript storefront. While the street-level bar functions as a typical tavern, a heavy wooden door near the back leads to a steep staircase. Upstairs, the room transforms into a dim, plush lounge known as The Rest. A local entrepreneur built this space in twenty thirteen, leaning into the Prohibition-era aesthetic. He famously required guests to find the hidden entrance through the downstairs bar, mimicking the clandestine spirit of the nineteen twenties.
