The Fotografisk Center occupies a renovated industrial hall within the former Carlsberg brewery district. Its most striking feature is the expansive glass facade that floods the gallery with natural light, a sharp contrast to the heavy, dark brickwork of the surrounding former stables and vat houses. Originally, this space housed the brewery's technical operations. Now, it hosts rotating exhibitions of contemporary photography, often prioritizing experimental works that play with the very light filtering through those large, original windows.
