Green George is a giant wooden troll constructed from hundreds of recycled shipping pallets. He sits crouched among the trees, clutching a net as if he is trying to catch something in the air. Thomas Dambo built this figure as the fiftieth in his series of giant wooden sculptures hidden throughout the world. He wanted to show people that trash has value. George remains tucked away in his forest corner, watching over the woods while waiting for visitors to find him.
