Janki ghat

Janki Ghat features a distinct, weathered stone staircase that descends directly into the dark waters of Lake Pichola. This landing served as a private bathing spot for the royal women of the Mewar dynasty. Unlike the more public ghats, these steps remain tucked away from the main tourist routes. During the monsoon season, the rising lake level swallows the bottom tiers of the stairs, turning the quiet stone platform into a narrow island cut off from the rest of the palace walls.
