Dwór Cechu Młynarzy

The Millers' Guild House stands out with its steep, stepped gable adorned with intricate Dutch-style brickwork. Built in the early seventeenth century, this structure served as the administrative headquarters for the powerful grain millers of Gdańsk. When the city relied on the massive Great Mill nearby to process vast shipments of Baltic wheat, this building acted as the center of their operations. Guild masters gathered here to settle disputes and manage their monopoly, often clashing with the city authorities over grain prices.
