The Kunszt Wodny features a heavy, dark steel frame that stands in sharp contrast to the surrounding red brick of Gdańsk. This skeletal structure marks the site of the seventeenth-century Great Water Art, a complex pumping station built by Peter Jansen van der Meer to distribute water throughout the city. The project turned the neighborhood into a center of industrial innovation, but the mechanism fell into decay long ago. Today, the glass-enclosed building serves as a modern community hub.
