The facade of the Bilbao La Concordia Station features a massive, arched stained-glass window that faces the Nervion River. Severino Achucarro designed the station in nineteen oh two to serve the railway connecting the city to Santander. While most stations prioritize heavy stone, this one relies on iron and glass to create a light, open structure. Its distinctive art nouveau aesthetic stands out against the dense urban core, marking the point where the railway line meets the water.
