Sarean

Sarean occupies a corner building in the Bilbao neighborhood of San Francisco, distinguished by its floor-to-ceiling windows that reveal a mix of a restaurant, a bar, and a community space. It began as a neighborhood initiative to revitalize an area that had struggled with long-term disinvestment. Local residents and artists pooled their resources to transform this formerly derelict site into a hub for social interaction. They hold language exchanges and art workshops alongside serving local Basque dishes to whoever walks through the door.
