Jen Library

educational

The Jen Library building is a massive, three story structure of pale brick and limestone trim that occupies the corner of Liberty and Bull Streets. It originally served as the Savannah Morning News building, completed in nineteen twenty-two. Journalists worked on the upper floors while giant printing presses churned out the daily paper in the basement. Today, it functions as the central library for the Savannah College of Art and Design, housing thousands of volumes on art, design, and fashion history.
