Kehoe House

The Kehoe House stands out for its elaborate facade of Savannah gray brick and ornate cast-iron balconies that wrap around the corners. William Kehoe, an Irish immigrant who rose from a foundry apprentice to a wealthy ironworks owner, built this mansion in eighteen ninety-two for his ten children. He insisted on using his own iron products for the exterior details. The house remained in his family for decades, later serving as a boarding house and a funeral home before its current use.
