The three story building at three eleven North Market Street features distinct red brickwork and large, arched windows typical of the late nineteenth century. Built in eighteen ninety-eight, it originally housed a wholesale grocery business during the West End’s peak as a distribution hub. A century later, it served as a warehouse for paper goods before being gutted and renovated into the restaurant that occupies the space today. The iron columns inside still bear the faint, painted markings of original freight inventory systems.
