The Palais Trapp features a distinctive, bright yellow facade accented by dark green window shutters, standing out against the surrounding stone architecture of the Maria-Theresien-Straße. Built in the seventeenth century, this structure served as the primary city residence for the powerful Trapp family. During the eighteenth century, they hosted lavish receptions for visiting nobility here. Later, the building housed the local police headquarters for decades, leaving behind heavy iron bars on the lower windows that remain visible to this day.
