Fräulein Grüneis

Fräulein Grüneis is a small, wooden kiosk with a distinctively steep, dark roof tucked into the trees of the Englischer Garten. It began in nineteen thirty-six as a public restroom designed by the city. Decades later, a local woman named Resi decided the structure deserved a better purpose and converted it into a snack stand. She famously ran the business with a sharp tongue, often sending customers away if they did not follow her specific rules for ordering coffee and cake.
