The building at Pozsonyi út nineteen features a distinct, curved facade of white stone that hugs the street corner, defining the visual rhythm of this riverside block. Designed by architect Jozsef Fischer in the nineteen thirties, it stands as a prime example of Budapest modernism. When it opened, the flats appealed to the city's intellectual and creative elite, who favored the clean, functional design over the ornate decorations of previous decades. It remains a hallmark of the city's pre-war residential architecture.
