Eden Theater

The Eden Theater features a distinctive, windowless concrete facade that sets it apart from the surrounding neighborhood. When it opened in nineteen fourteen, it served as the first cinema in Tel Aviv. During the silent film era, a live orchestra played beneath the screen to accompany the moving images. The theater became the cultural hub for the city’s early residents, hosting everything from neighborhood meetings to political rallies. It eventually closed its doors, leaving behind the shell that still stands on the street today.
