The Pot Still features a floor-to-ceiling back bar packed with over seven hundred distinct whiskies. It began as a grocer shop in eighteen sixty-seven, owned by a man named Alexander Galbraith. He sold tea, coffee, and spirits to the workers of Blythswood Hill. By the nineteen seventies, the shop had shed its grocery side to focus entirely on the dram. Even now, the worn wooden shelves still hold the weight of all those bottles, organized by region and distillery.
