The Paradiso Tanzbar sits tucked away near Gärtnerplatz with a low, inconspicuous entrance marked by a simple glowing sign. It occupies the former basement of a building that saw intense activity during the nightlife booms of the twentieth century. In the nineteen seventies, this space housed the legendary club Atlantis, where patrons danced under rotating disco balls while heavy air hung in the room until dawn. The owners kept the original layout, leaving the low ceilings and cramped bar area exactly as they were.
